Tumamoc Twilight Nail Polish

A multichrome holographic nail polish with multi-colored color-shifting flakes from gold, burgundy, violet, orange, copper, green, bronze, purple, and maroon.

Red, orange, pink, purple, black, and gold holo micro glitters for city lights and sunset tones. A sprinkle of silver holo micro glitter to represent the stars in a dark navy base to represent the night sky.

This polish was inspired by Tumamoc Hill at twilight, a popular desert hiking mountain in Tucson, Arizona. I love to go at sunset because you see all of the oranges, pinks, tangerines, and violet colors on one side of the horizon, and on the other side you see the stars starting to emerge in the deepening night sky. After the sun goes down, there are the most gorgeous deep burgundy tones, and all of the city lights twinkling.

Since we are only 40 minutes from the border, on Friday nights you see nothing but a line of red taillights of people going home to Mexico for the weekend, and on Sunday evenings, a stream of oncoming headlights on the I-10 freeway of people coming back from Mexico. It is beautiful. I wanted to capture all of that with Tumamoc Twilight.

If you hate working to get your nail polish off, I recommend using a peel off base coat. Otherwise, this will take scrubbing with pure acetone to remove.

You will not experience any sinking with the materials as the base that I use is of a thicker consistency but still applies very smoothly and evenly.
